Daniel's Floral

I worked as a Floral and gift department manager for two years. I made custom floral arrangements and gift baskets and I often took special requests from clients and worked one on one to get the exact result. From color, to shape, to style I customized for every need, occasion or holiday. Many clients would bring a photo or explain their vision to me and I’d help them bring it to life. Some clients would bring their own vases and give me creative licence because they loved my style and ability to surprise them. I also helped them make custom gift baskets with decorative ribbons and potpourri.

I ordered flowers on the weekly order board and holiday order board. 

 I managed all flower and plant care and distribution and setting up displays. I also oversaw department price changes, markdowns and shrink. 

After leaving the floral department for a new job I started taking orders for my own personal arrangements. I do custom wedding flowers, custom  memorial and holiday wreaths, and arrangements. Also recently I’ve started creating: artificial flower arrangements; plant bowls or terrariums with moss, stones, real or artificial plants, and figurines.
