Gili is the founder of Luisa New York, a company established in 2003 selling natural, handmade skin care products, and of the The Soap Cake Factory, an Israeli company specializing in fine, premium hand-crafted soap. Gili’s US business, Luisa New York has won numerous awards. In 2011, Luisa New York’s products were displayed in the Grammy awards event in Los Angeles
Gili is a chemical engineer and holds a Masters degree in applied chemistry from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and certified in advanced soap-making by the International Handcrafted Soapmakers Guild.
